As a very new company, Bandit Interactive got its name and its branding from a personal event that happened to the founder and creator of Jumbler, David Pardini. One day, he returned home to find that his home had been ransacked by thieves while he was away. Thankfully, his wife and kids were not at home at the time of the robbery. The financial setback of this event was significant. It also inspired the name of the gaming studio that would release Jumbler into being.
JumblerJumbler began as the inspiration of a successful commercial designer who severely lacked coding skills. Rather than wait to find the perfect skilled partner, David set out to become the person he needed. Already skilled as an artist, he set on a 4 year journey to become a competant programmer, even going as far as creating professional level iOS and VR apps at the company he was working for at the time.
Jumbler was already in development, but due to the bandit setback, it had to be redone entirely from scratch. The new game and everything else produced is the results of countless hours of effort and hard work bringing the vision literally back to life.
David spent the last few years of high school diving into HTML and Javascript before heading to college to persue a degree in Computer Science. He graduated cum laude from Rhode Island College in 2002 with a degree in Studio Art (Graphic Design) and a minor in Music. He then spent 7 years as a Designer and 3D Artist in New York City, working with brands such as Colgate-Palmolive, L Brands, and WalMart.
Moving to Texas in the spring of 2013, he spent time working as a 3D artist while studying C# and .NET. He created the idea for Jumbler when his daughter was first born (she is now 4). After years of intense practice and lots of sleepless nights, David is working hard to finally finish Jumbler!
For this project, he had to do everything. Every line of code. Every piece of art. This very website. Absolutely everything came from his hands directly.
